Huawei readies Mate 80, Mate X7 and nova 15 for autumn launch push

Huawei is preparing one of its most concentrated product offensives of the year, with three major smartphone lines set to land within weeks of each other. According to leaks circulating among Chinese tech commentators and echoed by supply-chain sources, the Shenzhen-based group will unveil the Mate 80 flagship series, the Mate X7 foldable and the nova 15 family as part of a tightly scheduled autumn launch programme running from late October into November.

The Mate 80 range is expected to take the lead, with industry watchers pointing to an October 28 unveiling that would bring forward the brand’s traditional flagship cadence. The line-up is reported to include a standard edition, a Pro variant and a Pro+ model, mirroring the tiered structure Huawei has used to target different price points in the premium segment. Moving the launch forward into the fourth quarter would give the company a clear run at the year-end shopping window before rivals refresh their own flagships in the new calendar year.

Foldable momentum is set to continue with the Mate X7, which will succeed the Mate X6 as Huawei’s flagship large-format book-style device. The nova 15 series, traditionally aimed at younger consumers and the mid-market, is slated to complete the trio in November. Together, the three families cover nearly the full price ladder of the domestic smartphone market, from premium flagships and premium foldables through to the volume-driven mid-range.

The compressed launch window reflects Huawei’s broader push to re-establish density in its product calendar after several years of supply-chain disruption. By concentrating marketing around a single news cycle, the company can leverage shared media coverage and retail channel attention across three device categories, while component vendors in the Yantaishan and Songshan Lake ecosystems benefit from clustered orders for displays, image sensors and Kirin-class silicon.

For international buyers and B2B partners tracking China’s consumer electronics export engine, the launch cluster also signals the next wave of devices likely to reach overseas markets in early 2026. Distributors preparing accessory, case and aftermarket programmes are advised to monitor the official Huawei channels for confirmation of regional launch dates and SKU breakdowns in the weeks following the domestic debut.
